Job Description

You will set your own hours and work as much or as little as required to fill your own quota. Our office is located in Washington, DC, so you will be working out of your home and conference in with other remote Sales Associates for team meetings when they occur.

You will have the freedom to market as you feel comfortable; you may find that selling to friends and family is the best way to meet your quota, or that you're more comfortable cold-calling and doing walk-ins with businesses who you know don't already have websites.

Your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan;
  • Prospect, cold-call, network, generate leads, set-up & attend in-person meetings;
  • Sell potential clients on the benefit of a website and the reasons for choosing us as a low-cost provider;
  • Market to friends and family who are actively seeking a web designer for their small business;
  • Walk potential clients through the purchase process.

Once you've earned the sale and closed the purchase process, you will hand off the clients to the in-house designers and won't need to actively support them, freeing you to continue the sales process with new clients.
